CRIME IN THE NEW TERRITORIES

At the Criminal Sessions yesterday schtence of eighteen months' hard labour was passed on each of two Chinese who were found guilty of robbery by two or more. The case came before the Puisne Judge and a jury.

A somewhat dramatic story of how two children were kidnapped before the eyes of their parents and how they were eventually restored to them following the arrest of a widow and two men in Hong Kong, tracy yesterday. was told at the Kowloon Magis

The defendants were charged with detaining the children and keeping them in custody without the per- mission of their parents.

"The case for the prosecution is that this is one of those cases of concerted robbery in which more thun ono man takes part."
