THE FASHION OF THE DISH-No. III

A l'Aurore

DISHES have been named for various reasons. The fashion à. P'errore undoubtedly - derives its name from its colour, fit for the roay dawn herself.

Whip the white of an egg very stiffly. Now hold the pan high up and pour the syrup.on to the beaten white of egg, stirring all the time.

Have four ounces of very finely chopped walnuts ready, add those to the syrup mixture, and also one teaspoonful of vanilla essence. Fill up the cases quickly with the walnut mixture.

Place half a walnut on each case and leave till cold. Arrange on a d'oyley.
