WARE"

AN ATTRACTIVE PRO...

GRAMME

The current programme at the King's Theatre catery for all tastes, for in addition to the main attraction, The Trial of Vivienne Ware" which is well worth seeing, the management has put on several short films which pre particular interest to Hong Kong audiences.

In "Rickaha Rhythm" the audi-. ence is shown many slides of life in Shanghai, the combined Liver Hool and Monte Carlo of the East, Familiar pictures of the life of the city, its shops and big buildings the foreign and Chinese settlements and the population on the water, are shown, but what is extremely interesting is the contrast shown of wealthy Chineso men and women drinking cocktails in chbarets on the one hand, while others are seen in the sluma carrying on under terrible conditions of poverty.
