Bliss, the Interparter, played for Kowloon while Pardoe, another St. Joseph's 10.7 2 1 40 10 ZA member of the successful interport team played for the Artillery when the two teams met on Saturday. Both these players were outstand- ing.

Kowloon took the lead, early when a misunderstanding between the Artillerymen resulted in Com- bey pushing the ball into his own goal when saving from Hill,

At the interval the Artillery had not managed to get the equaliser and it looked very much as if they were up against it. After the in- terval bath sides played well, but the earlier pas told on Kowloon and towards the end, when they visibly slacked down and R.A. scored twice, to match full points. Gough scored from a melee and Bryant put in a beautiful shot to earn the full points.

DIVISION II.

BORDERERS ". EWOS Although the Borderers have an unbeaten record in the second divi- sion, they very nearly went down or Saturday when they played the Ewo, a comparatively weak team.

The game was very even in the first half and Ewo, if anything had the better of things. Taking a penalty awarded against Ewo, Pritchard struck the crossbar, but when the ball rebounded into play, instead of leaving it to another player, he kicked it again and scored, but the referee awarded a free kick against him for touching the ball twice.

Ewn had several good opportuni- ties to score during the secon balf but failed to take advantage of them. Hamblyn put in the only goal of the match Bear the end of the game and thus enabled the Borderers to chalk up two points for this game.

SOUTH CHINA » R.A. The Artillery were favoured v win their match against South China at Caroline Hill, but Pau Ka Ping played so well for the Chinose side that the latter won the argument by the ddd goal in five,

At the interval the score was two goals to one in favour of the Chinese, who at one stage led by two clear goals. In the second half, the Artillery drew level but. from that stage the Chinese kent pressing and ultimately Pau Ka Ping stored the winning goal, fol- lowing an excellent combination with his right wing.

LINCOLNS ». CLUB Five clear goals was the inargi by which the Lincolns defeated the Club. The latter fielded only toa men and were fortunate in being able to find such a good "goalie as Simmons. Book was the feature of the Senior League match between the Club and the divi Servants in their engagement at Happy Valley on Saturday, Bowl- ing unchanged, he went through the opposition in devastating manner, and in 8 overs (4 maldens) captured 8 wickets for 17 rung! The Club had no difealty in passing their score of 89, E. J. E. Mitchell and J. P. Whitham batting well for 52 and 46, respec- tively.
