CLUB BEAT RECREIO BY SIX GOALS TO ONE

The Lincoln Regiment, made an encouraging start in local· football circles when they won in all three divisions of the Ina- guo on Saturday. Their senior team accounted for the Police by the convincing margin of 6 goals to 1, while in the second division they won by the odd gon) in saven against St. Joseph's. In the third division they swamped the Radio Sports Club by eight clear goals.

South China continue to win, their victim on Saturday being the Royal Artillery whom they defeated by two clear goals, while the Club de Recreio were badly beaten by the Club at Happy Valley.

The results in the second and third divisions were very much as generally anticipated.

The Tsung Tsin A.A., newcomers to the longue, scored two points at the expense of the Club whom they defeated by three goals to two. The Chinese scored two goals in the first half but Watson scored two goals in the second half for the Club. In the last minutes of the game, however, the Chinese obtain- ed the lead through Oiu Shuk Yan and kept this advantage until the final whistle was blown.

The Radio were outplayed by the Lincolns, conceding eight goals without reply. Seven of the goals were scored in the first half by Clarke (2) McGuinness (9) Cle ments, Dennis and Davis.
