RESULTS AT A GLANCE

In the second half, the soldiers were distinctly superior and five more goals came to them through Baldry, Harding, (3) and Ridley, and tie score would have bean even bigger if Frazer had not kept goal so splendidly for the Police.

By four goals to three, the Lin. coins' second string accounted for the College's second eleven. The Kame was a very fast one and the College led through Souza, but the soldiers equalised through McGuin- ness and Malpas and Hooquard added further goals for the soldiers before the interval. In the second half the soldiers went further ahend when Botts scored for them. The: Collegians then pulled themselves together and Santos scored twice: in rapid succession for them. The final whistle came with the Saints still looking for the equaliser. ;

As in their match with the Bor- derers last week, they held their own up to a certain point and then fell to pieces.

The nippy Chinese forwards were held by the hefty Artillery backs, for some time, but their repeated Costello, A., M. Omar and Azim efforts to break through were early scored for the Saints', while Costa rewarded by Leung Wing Fat scor- added the fourth with penalty ing a goal for them. The interval kick.
