£900,000 of Housing.
An expenditure of £900,000 over the next twenty years is estimated to be the cast of 'developing the Speke estate of the Liverpool Cor poration, on the outskirts of the city. This estate was recently ac quired by that municipality, and it is to be planned on the nost modern lines. Land is reserved for housing a population of about 55,000, at a density of twelve or sixteen hours per acre.
Three hundred and thirty arres are reserved for an aerodrome-- which is already partly constructed and in actual use. 107 acres for in-
gulf stitutions, 185 acres for A course, and 320 acres for industrial purposes in an area which is well served by rail and road transport.
