Plight of the Railroads. They were not doing much as yet with fruit, flowers, fish, milk, and' perishable vegetables because they. did not have refrigerator trucks in any great number, but they were building those. There would soon he fleets of refrigerators on wheels rushing back and forth across the country in every direction, over public highways, for whose unkeop they had to pay nothing.
