SOME SELECTIONS FOR PUNTERS.

[BY MORNING DEW."]

To-morrow, the Fraling Hunt and Race Club will be holding the Easter Hase Mesting with a prò. "gramme of hoven events and the sport promises in every way to be as good as it has been in the past,

The main ovent in The Faoling Grand National and Pierce Grove Memorial for which there are no fawer than thirteen entries and is is hoped that as many as possible will start. for this race over two and a quarter miles.

The prograrie opens with £1 "steeplechase over a mile and a quarter for Fanling suba and although there are only eight en tries, it seems as if the whole right will face the starter. Lèch Ryan, Herga and Mouche appear to be the pick of the bunch and it would not surprise me to see them finish in that order. Cutex was running well until he developed a trick of stop- ping at the bond just beyond the winning post, but if he can be got. to behave himself at that point of the race, it is quite on the cards

Frolic will be carrying five pound's less than Royal Flash and for thet reason, he should give Mr. Heard's pony a good run. However, Mar. quis Hall ab 145 pounds appears to have been let in pretty lightly and one should not overlook this pony's shaness. If Ataman is kept for this race he might be able to do well and another very goud pony I see àmong the entries is Vasylock, now belonging to Mr. Reidy.
