Coming to the three St. Legers" fxed for Saturday the most inter- esting is the race for griffins AJ, there appears to be a lot of speculation as to likely starters, it is difficult to predict how big the field will be but in any case race goers qan depend on a rattling good mice, because, for one thing, Mr. Leo Frost will be with us, according to the lateet stable in- telligence This jockey's presence will make the claims of Wonderful Stag quite serious although Mr.. Chin Tin Son's pony has never really been very prominent in the long races.

The field for the griffins St Leger will probably include Gold Key (Mr. Harriman), Bright Star (Mr. Pan), Sam Houston (Mr. Caplan), Nippy (Mr.” 1p. Kui Ying), Holly Leaf (Mr. "F. M. LA Soares), Wonderful Stag Mr. Frost), Spey (Mr G. U da Roza) and probably The Plover (Mr. A. W da Roza).
