Coming to the three St. Legers" fxed for Saturday the most inter- esting is the race for griffins AJ, there appears to be a lot of speculation as to likely starters, it is difficult to predict how big the field will be but in any case race goers qan depend on a rattling good mice, because, for one thing, Mr. Leo Frost will be with us, according to the lateet stable in- telligence This jockey's presence will make the claims of Wonderful Stag quite serious although Mr.. Chin Tin Son's pony has never really been very prominent in the long races.

The field for the griffins St Leger will probably include Gold Key (Mr. Harriman), Bright Star (Mr. Pan), Sam Houston (Mr. Caplan), Nippy (Mr.” 1p. Kui Ying), Holly Leaf (Mr. "F. M. LA Soares), Wonderful Stag Mr. Frost), Spey (Mr G. U da Roza) and probably The Plover (Mr. A. W da Roza). Gold Key defenitely has an excellent. cbanco as he ran such a good race in the Derby that his performance is still fresh in the minds of those who saw the race. Bright Star was azry promising pony, until he went wrong in training, but he is galloping" quite well again and there is plenty of confidence in his atable. Sam Houston has not done very much to date, but might pull a big surprise. Nippy is on the top of his form, having thras con- secutive wins" to "he credit, Holly Leaf would undoubtedly have been the public's choice if he had not developed shoulder trouble during the summer. However, he is re- rorted to be sound again and if Mr. Soares gets the mount, look out: for him as Holly Leaf is definitely a staver!': Sbey accounted for Gold Key in the Derby and might do so again in the Leger in which case he is sure to be placed, "if he does not actually win.

With such an even field and with the possibility of ponies like Valorous and Fortune Bay ncqent ing, panters will be hard put to it to find the winner. One would be justified in predicting a fast race although the distance is against

in the prices of OVALTINE

The reductions have been made possible by the over-growing world-wide sales of Ovaltine." The increased production bas resulted in the use. of new improved machinery, and has thus decreased overhead charges. In accordance with the ideals and principles of the manufactur re these savings are immediately passed on to the consumers of Oraltinen the form of lower prices.

There has never been, and there will not be, the slightest lowering of the quality of “Ovaltine"—for it is upon its supreme quality that the increasing reputation of “Ovaltine" depends. There will remain the same insistence upon the high standard of excellence of the constituent ingredients-malt, milk, eggs and cocoa, Thero will be the same unvarying care taken in every process of manufacture

Indeed, the quality of “Qyalting" will be still further improved by the development of the “ Ovaltine” Egg Farm, which will ensure that the egge so important a constituent of "Ovaltinewill be of the finest quality. Twelve and a half million eggs are used each year in the manufacture of "Oraltine.
