SIX DRAWN GAMES IN THE SOUTHERN SECTION:
SOUTHEND STILL UNBEATEN.
Some close results in the First Division of the English Lengua on Saturday when seven of the games were decided by the margin of one goal. The lending team, Everton, did well in retaining their one goal, advantage to the end when they were the guests of Aston Villa. It was a bad day for West Bromwich Albion, the Cup win norn, as they lost to Bolton by the only goal of the match and allowed Huddersfield, who had an chay victory against Sunderland, tar move up next to the leaders.
Bury, lenders in the Second Division, were forced to share the points, but they are still at the top with Leeds United on lovel torms. Stoke, Plymouth, Bradford and the Wolves werò, successful in obtaining the points, and they stand in the same order as the provious wack.
