Firó broke out recently in the United States liner Leviathan, and the third-class refreshment bar was seriously damaged. The discovery was made by members of the crew.

The Southampton Docks fire brigade prevented the flames! spreading, so that the services of the Borough brigade, although call 26,137ed, were not required.
