PHILIBERT.

WRECK TO BE BEACHED. AS BOON AS WEATHER PERMITS.

Paris, July The salvage of the St. Philibert has now been all but accomplished. Four largo, steel cables in the form of slings buva been passed under the bull, and are suspended from the German salvago vessel Kraft, belonging to the Hain- burg frm which is undertaking the operations,

The Kraft is anchored immediate ly over the St. Philibert, and henyl- ing in the same direction. Sho carries several thousands of tons of water ballast which is contained in: specially constructed holds, Aud all that is necessary to do to raise the wreck is to pump out these 13,209 holds 164
