A representative meeting of the Conference in London yesterday. passed a resolution declaring that. the application af Government export credits to the building or sale of merchant ships irrespective: of the status or nationality of the buyer would be against the inter ests of the shipping industry.
The Conference urged Great Bri- tain to refrain from applying] Buch credits in this way, as it was then thought other countries would alsc abstain..
