Taking advantage of the brilliant weather a record "crowd attended the March Meeting of the Fanling Hunt and Race Club yesterday.

Captain I. M. Stewart was the most successful jockey of the day, riding three winners and getting a second place in four out. ings. Lady Peel presented the cups to the successful competitors at the end of the meeting.
FLAT RACES ATTRACT BIG FIELDS.
Mount Elburz and Jadestone set a fast pace at the outset, but faded out of the race half a mile from home.
The fat races on the card proved, Christmas Chines, although he just axeedingly popular and provided managed it by a short head from good fields.
