The few river dredge for the port of Iloilo, now under construo tion in the yards of F. Schichau, Gm.b.H., Elbing, Germany; will be completed in about seven months and will be towed to the Philip pines by the new customs cuttor which is also under construction at the same yards.
The dredge will proceed to Iloilo ahortly on its own power. This dredge, unlike the dredger Manila, is not a sen going ship, it was ex plained at the office of Reither Akerman Company, local agenta of F. Schichan, but it will be able to make the trip to Iloilo unaided.
