A thrilling race in which six ponies out of eight in the race "figured "in":

The winner of the Also Ran Stakes, Daylight Eve, had a fairly victory hero. Paul Fry lod most of the way but was passed by the winner in the straight, and although the former put up a grent challenge, had to acknowledge de- feat by half a length. Mr. Bonres on Nippy managed to nose out Eros to get third place...

Favourite Fails.

The last race of the day sw Majestic Hall favourite in a six furlong events for Novices. It look ed very much as if Mr. Ho Kom. Toug's pay would walk away with this race, but Fung had a bad start and was never in the picture.
