MYSTERY.

STORY OF TOBACCO CARGO AND SHOT-RIDDLED COAT.

A derelict and drifting motor- yacht alleged to have on board a cargo of tobacon and n sadler's cost riddled with bullets is the subject of a baffling mystery which the Belgian police and Customs outcials have been: trying to unravel.

The story of the finding of the yacht has all the elements of a melodrama,

The vessel in white and the name Marsouin is stated to be painted on her side.MANA match at

Eneli of the contests were schedul- ed for six rounds. In the first, B. Aherne, a former British and Walsh schoulboy champion, mit Bandaraz Fairhurst, 2nd King's Bigt, and runner-up for the Army Bysweight title. Aherne showed good ring- eraft, hat the Welsh boy, was the taller, and used an effective left hand. Fairhurst tried desperately for a knockout, but was often shart with his counters, and Abertio was a good winner on points.

T. Badmore, the Welsh borinn champion, and Sgt.-Instr. C.. E. Haslam, the 1.5.B.A. and Army fly-weight champion, came next, Radmore had an advantage in height and reach, and sored many ints at long rangs, Haslain, however, kopt both hands busy, bit

The

Fishermon outside Zeebrugge Harbour were astounded when they BBW the yacht drifting in the wind without any sign of life on board. For some tinie they watched the vessel boing tossed to and fro in the heavy sens and were hall afraid to approach her..

They hailed the yacht time after time without receiving an answer, and foally they decided to hoard her. There was no one on board, and the fishermen were astonished to find a large quantity of tobacco stored below.

They then discovered a coat of blue material with what seemed to be a number of bullet boles through

the sleeves.

The yacht's crew, it would seem, had made a hurried departure for there were signs of a half-finished toont in the tiny quarters, and the yacht's gear was undisturbed, be The fishermen decided to tow the "mystery ship to Zeebrugge.
