SOME INTERESTING NEW SLEEVES.

In our excitement over waist-lincs and skirt-lengths, don't let us forget a change in fashion Just na definite as these, if not quite so striking..

Almost the only kind that is quite out of fashion in the absent One! That's to say that we no longer like for day-time the sleeve- less frock with a large armhole cut almost as casually as that of a nightgown. It's smarter nowadays to cover the shoulder, if only with a tiny sleeve on the blouse of wash. ing tussere, which is cut in one with the yoke and front band.

Now Boudoir Suits,

The new boudoir suits are only distinguishable from the smartest tengowns when the wearer walks. Then, if you watch closely, you will, sce that what looks like a long skirt is, in reality, a pair of pyjamas, though each leg of which is almost wide enough to be a skirt.

Paillettes and dangling pruaments drek the latest models. There is a boudoir suit, the upper part of which is of silver-grey, chiffon: the lower is embroidered solidly with shining silver paillettes.

Bridge suits, too, are included in the wardrobe of the smart woman.. (Continued on next Column)

In theso, exquisite pieces of old Chinese embroidery as well as the most decorative of the modern Fabrics can be put to good use.

A bridge suit with wide black satin trousera has a plain black cross-over waistcoat bodice. Over this goes a pyjama-length coat of black and gold and lacquer red and green brocade. Special travelling pyjama suits are made of printed Foulard.
