ROYAL ARMY SERVICE CORPS, UNFORTUNATE IN DRAW WITH UNIVERSITY SECONDS.

The only Lengue antch in the senior division over the week, end resulted in a win for the University over the Royal Navy at Pokfulam. It was, on the whole, a rather low-scoring game, the keen fielding of the home team, more than anything else giving them the three points. In the junior division, the Hong Kong Cricket Club beat the Police fairly easily, while the Royal Army Service Corps had the better of their draw with the University seconds at Sookunpoo,'+'

Navy Dismissed Cheaply..

Playing at Pokfulam, the Univer- sity registered their first win of the SCRSON at the expense of the Royal Navy, who, batting first, were dis- niased for only 73 runs.

Smart fielding on the part of the home team was in a large measure responsible for the Navy collapse. Their most successful bowler was A. T. Normanbhoy who took 3 for 10, while Baker had 2 for 7. Tho only players to run into double figures for the sailors were A. B. Baker (21) and Pigott (16).

Despite the fact they had only to get 74 cans for a win, the Univer sity Inds were rather shaky in' get- ting them and no less than seven
