Lands, Hotels and Buildinga.- Hong Kong and Shanghai Hotels reacted a bit further with sales mado down to $11.38, but there has since been a recovery in the prico to 811.45. Hong Kong Lands were dealt in to a large extent at $83 883) and the New shares at $81 to ON LONDON- 882. The "Rights" yielded 8201. Realtys were taken off the market At $0.50 and 89.60. Humphreys Estates were booked at 910 and Shanghai continue in request. Lands concluded at Tls, 310, (1017)

Utilities.--Hong Kong Electrics have fluctuated a good deal ON and a large business was done up to 8831. They are, however, easier at the close owing to profit taking ON and were sold down to 880, at which rate there are still sollers, China Lights (Old) were well maintained and changed hands at 820.90, Tele- phones (Partly Paid) have had a further rise to 8231. Hong Kong Trams were booked at $18.10 and continus in demand. Star Ferries show a further advance and were negotiated to a fair extent up to 802. Peak Trams (Old) are silcable at $14.
