"THE WILD PARTY."
Opportunity for fun and fame has been given Jack Oakie, a New York stage favourite, who plays a big rôle in Clara Bow's," The Wild Party," an all-talking Paramount production, which comes to the Central Theatre' for a four days" run boginning to day.
This film of youth at its maddest moments will recall the most recent Clara Bow success, "The Fleet's In," for it was in this picture that Oakie started as a Parnınount play- er, having in that the part of Searchlight McGuire.
'As the "life of the "party". in "The Wild Parly," Oakie has fall opportunity to display the talents that brought him first stage fame and the popularity upon the
acreen,
On the stage he started in a Junior League show in New York several years ago and this quickly led to antisequent appearances in vaudeville and Shubert's "Passing Showa." He is a talented top dancer, and has a singing voice of fine quality.
