WISDOM STAG AND THE ST. LEGER.

CHINESE-OWNED CANDIDATE STANDS BEST CHANCE IN TO-DAY'S PRINCIPAL' RACE.

King's Colour, another likely starter, is bound to find a good deal of support, especially since he will be ridden by Mr. da Roza, whose recent successen are still fresh in the minds of punters.

African Eve and Mike may also accept for this big race, but both ́éan bo confidently counted out of it. Mike may get a place, but the chances of African Eve are extreme by Jean.

Shek-O Handicap: "A" Class.

The amazing speed of 150 miles an hour on two wheels was to day achieved by the well-known British motor-cyclist, Wright, on a British machine, an O.E.O. Jap eyale, at Cork.
