A total sum of $285,310 was EMPIRE CONFERENCE approved by the Finance Commilled
ut the Legislative Council yester day, as supplementary estimates for 1030.
The biggest item was the Govern ment-contribution of $105,000 to the Kowloon Tong building scheme, de- taits of which, uppour elsewhere in this issue.
All the other votes were duly approved, with the exception of the following which was the subject of some questions.
