FIFTEEN OFFICIAL RACES IN TWO DAYS.

Mr. G. U. Ja Roza was outstandingly the most succeseful jockey during the Eighth Extra Race Morting. Out of the thirteen times he started he obtained seven wins, three seconds and two thirds, being unplaced only once!

Saturday's sport was marked by the great performance of Zorhan who won the five fur longs in effortless manner, and returned a time which was only three-filths of a second behind that of the record set by Apollo at the Annual Meeting.

Pagoda and Nationalist II. repeated their victories of the first day. Nationalist II. hnd all his work cut out, to accure victory against Windsor Stag, who after leading all the way, was passed by the ultimate winner in the straight. Windsor Stag made a determined effort to re- cstablish a lead and this resulted in a thrilling finish at a gruelling pass in which Nationalist II. stalled off the Stag by three quarters, of a length. This was undoubtedly the greatest raco of the meeting.
