The Ministry of Industry Cam- merce and Labour in Nanking is panning to hold a cotton goods erhibition at the capital on October 30, to acquaint the people with the latest improvements effected in the manufacture of native cotton com- modities. In a dispatch to the Native Goods Manufacturera-As ciation of Greater Shanghai, the Ministry requests that representa tires be sent by the cotton trade o operate with the Ministry in making the exhibition à success.

It may be recalled that a native ilk products exhibition was held last May, which attracted much at- tention. Since cotion is the prin- tipal material of clothing for ordi- hary people, the forthcoming ex- hibition is likely to arouse great popular interest.
