PRESERVATION OF THE "FAITH IN ROME.
The Papal Association for the Preservation of the Faith and the Provision of New Churches in Rome" was founded by Motu proprio pf Pope Pius XI. The object of the new Association is to supply all the new quarters which are growing up on the outskirts of the city with their own churches, The town itself, with a population of only 800,000, has already over 500 churches and temples, but the new districte have few churches.
