STRONG,

of

On Saturday the senior division completed their programme matches in the lawn bowls league. Craigengower crowned their success as champions for the third year in succession by again lowering the colours of the Civil Service team. They won by 23 shots. A celebra- tion followed at the C.C.C., which was heartily supported by the losers. Several speeches were made by Civil Service representatives con gratulating Craigengower on their success and endorsing that they were without any doubt the best team in the league.

The Club de Recreio senior team were successful at home against the Bowling Green Club by eight shots. In the junior division, Kowloon C.C. lost at home to Taikoo by the small margin of four shots.
