always had got pains in my arms and legs, and I suffered fromsevere ner- vous headaches, but I do not have them now, thanks to Phosferine. At first I thought I should never be well again, but when I heard that my. brother was taking Phosferine I thought I would try it, and in the first two or three days I began to feel better, and I sleep better, which is a blessing at my age, as I am 71 and people say I am a wonder for my age. I am still healthy and well, and am able to carry out my household duties, and in addition I have also been nursing and looking after an old gentleman, besides shopping which means a mile and a half of walking daily-I could not have done it without the help of Phosferine, as the influenza left me feeling very weak and broken in health. I find so many people, when they get on in years, think nothing will do them good, but I say to them do not think that, take Phosferine, and what it has done for me it can do for you." I advise ethers to take Phosferine and guard against nerve pains and Influenza, etc., and anyone who has suffered that way should take it to build themselves up again." those master craftsmen of adventur

ing camera work, Merian C. Cooper and Ernest B. Seboodsack. They are remembered for the startling bigness of their earlier successes "Chang" and Grass?"

In "The Four Feathers" Cooper and Schoodsack have turned out a picture bigger than either of the other two because of its historical authenticity and because of its tense, sweeping action. The human interest in this hits nearer home

because the theme is more modern and because the British soldiers exploits in the Sudan are already familiar to all readers of Kipling and of A. E. W. Mason's famous novel, upon which the film is based.

"The Four Feathers" deals with a young officer who is a coward and who receives white feathers, symbols of shameful cowardice, from his comrades in arms. Instead of following out the edict implied by the four feathers, namely committ ing suicide, the officer (played by: Richard Arlen) swears he will make them retract their feathers. He be takes himself to the African Sudan and through slashing combat with Fuzzy Wuzzy tribesmen and through the gates of death in deart and jungle effects the rescue of his fellow fighters.

There are jungle scenes, actually taken in the African wilderness by Cooper and Schoodsock. How thea men are able to take animal-action pictures such as they bring to the screen said yet return with whole skins, is one of the wonders of the
