THE MAJESTIC.

Doris Kenyon heads all stars sup porting the cast of the "Valley of the Giants," a forceful drama of the great Redwoods of California. Milton Sills is the typical he-man of the motion picture screen.., He represents, in the minds of the cosmopolitan audience which sees hia pictures in every civilized land on the globe, the ideal citizen.

Bills' latest vehicle, "The Valley of the Giants," from the virile pen of Poter B. Kyne, is a picture which ably and truthfully presents another phase of American life, the lumber industry. Just as “Men of Steel" was the classic of that industry, so is "The Valley of the Giants an epic of the Rig Woods, a saga of the great trees of Cali fornia and record of the teeming lamber mills and the woodmen's vampe deep in the virgin forests.

The Valley of the Giants," is a masterful, stirring and romantic story of the Redwoods and of the people who inhabit them. It is ideal picture material, for it deals largely in action, and it allows for a picture story that is convincing and sincere.

Silla gives to this characteriss- tion a forceful personality. He portrays the son of the wealthy timber baron who has the stamina to battle with his father's" onemies for the control of the lumber situn- tion, even though he has led a life of case during his boyhood. Bills handles the role in a forceful and convincing manner, with the result that his Bryce Cardigan" is one of the most colourful and interest ing characters of his screen career. 1.

Playing opposite Sills in this great story in Doris Kenyon, the talented feature player of First 2. National Pictures Miss Keyon is j· charming as Shirley Pennington, daughter of the rival baron, who is torn between her love for her 3. father and her love for Bryce.
