LONDON, July 0. At Lord's, the Light Blues scored a sensational victory in the Varsity match amid scenes of uproarious excitement amongst the under- graduntry. A draw seemed inevit able when Cambridge declared their Second innings closed at "the ten interval, when there were less than two hours left for play. The Cam- bridge bowlers gradually effected a complete rout of the Oxonians, and "claiming the privilege of an extra half hour play, won hand somely by 205 runs.

Turning to league tennis, the C.R.C. appear to be certainties for championship honours in both the "B" and "C" divisions, while the Indians, ought to win the "A" shield, provided they can beat the Kowloon Cricket Club, who some little time ago created a surprise by beating the formidable Chinese.

Not much interest seems to be taken in the Mixed Doubles either, and here, as in the cases of the men's competitions, the whole thing seems to be dragging along slowly.
