The Bowling Green team lost to the champions last week, but I have no doubt but that Civil Service will not be permitted to have things their own way. At Kowloon Dock the visitors are Club de Re- ereic. Here, again, the outcome is very much in doubt, though I would favour the chances of the visitors owing to the Dock's inability to win at home this season. Kowloon C.C.do better on an away ground than at home. Tuikoo, who will be the visitors on this ground, are now within striking distance of the leaders, and I expect to see them make a successful bid for the points.

It has been said that interest lags as soon as the league and open competitions are over, and while this should not be the case, it is nevertheless true. People in Hong Kong de rot, apparently, like the idea of playing friendly games "all the time and though it might sound. too much like pot-hunting, it seems that whenever there is some prize at stake, the competitors, or the greater part of them at any rate, go about their business with toore, keenness than otherwise.

Turning to league tennis, the C.R.C. appear to be certainties for championship honours in both the "B" and "C" divisions, while the Indians, ought to win the "A" shield, provided they can beat the Kowloon Cricket Club, who some little time ago created a surprise by beating the formidable Chinese.
