THE TERUKUNI MARU IN PORT.
MAIDEN VOYAGE, FROM JAPAN TO LÖNDON."
Yet another new N.T.K. motor vesel, the Terukuni Maru, wil be thrown open to the public for inspection on Friday, July 11 from 4 pm. to 0 p.m. She will be along- side the Kowloon Wharf for the occasion and invitations have al- ready been sent out by the local offices of the Nippon Yusen Kaisha.
The Terukuni Maru is the latest reuel to be put into commission by the N.Y.K.nccording to their. already large fleet. The vessel is
her maiden voyage from Japam to London, and all the advance re- ports which have come to bacd in- dicate that she is a valuable addi- tion to the N.Y.K. Europe Orient service.
The Terukuni Maru is a motor passenger ship of 11,800 tons gross and is a sister-chip of the Yasukuni Maru, which is at present under- A3-going construction and which is ex- pected to be completed by Septem- ber.

Capt. P. R. Gay Cumming of the Hop Sang, which arrived here from Tsingtao and Swatow on July 8, reports that whilst on the voyage he sighted a derelict junk swash. The position was:Benring from Good Hope Cape, N. 47 E. 0.6 miles. A similar report was made to the Harbour Master at Swator,
