It was stated by Mr. F. C. Jenkin, who appeared in support of the application, instructed by Messrs. Deacons, that the fraud had been committed by obtaining duplicate certificates and forging blank trans fers, with the result that certificates for an extra 9,000 shares over and above the issued capital of the com pany had come into existence.
