Hong Kong and Canton residents will learn with deep regret of the passing of Mrs. Burkwall, wife of the Rey, H. O. T. Burkwall, who for over a quarter of a centüme worked with her husband in Canton as local agent for the British and Foreign Bible Society.

They left for their home country last August, and Mrs. Burkwall's death must come as a profound shock to those in the Far East who loved and respected her.
