CAPT, MITCHELL WINS CORPS CHAMPIONSHIP.

The Hong Kong Volunteer An-" nual Rifle Meeting which was held at Stonecutters over the week-end concluded on Saturday afternoon, and though the team entries, ou the whole, were not as many as in previous years, the meeting was a

auccess.

The Corps Championship Prize went to Captain Mitchell, of the Machine Gun Company, who scored 113 points out of a possible 190, with Private McLennar (No. 7 Platoon and last year's winner) coming second, only two points be- hind. In the team shoots, No. 6 Platoon did exceptionally well and carried off both the 'Blake Shield' and the Francis Cup.
