MAN OVERBOARD I

The master of the Sui Sang, which arrived from Singapore at 4 p.m. The returns, shown at the Har-on Sunday, has made a report to bour Office of vessels carrying the Harbour Authorities" to the cargo to the Colony during the effect that whilst his vessel was in hours eaded at 9 am yesterday Lat. 14.38 N., Long 11291 E... at 4 p.m. on February 21, Yu Hong, a Chinese deck passenger jumped overboard and was drowned. "On the alarm being given two life | buoya were immediately throwi to theman and the vessel altered course to pick him up, A life boat in charge of the 2nd officer, Mr. Minshall was lowered, but after an hour's search returned to the vessel, which then proceeded on her way.
