CHAKSANG ASHORE,

The mast of the Seochow, which arrived from Shanghai and Canton, at 7.30 a.m. yesterday made a repórt to the effect that the Chaksang war ashore just below the lion Barrier. Enquiries from the agents elicited the news that no serious damage was sustained, and that very pro bably the boat, would be floated at high water.
