MARINE COURT CASES.
A boarding house runner was fined $30 (or in default 5 months hard labour) by Mr. T. W. H. Hose good at the Marine Court yeater- day, for stealing 8110 on board the 5. Van Hentsz. The defendant when searched by the Water Police was found in possession of the money, and admitted that he had
stolen it.
Mooring in Causeway Bay Refuge.
Two junk masters were each fined 83 by Mr. T, W, H. Hosegood for mporing in Causeway Bay Refuge without a permit from the Harbour Master.
Rough Weather, Masters of ships arriving here Festerday and on December 26 give reports of encountering rough wen ther. Capt. A... S. Blues, of the Bellerophon, from Singapore, re- parts Strong N.E. Monsoon, with heavy seas."
Capt. Axford, of the Mirzapore, from Bombay states:"Light Monsoons to 10°. Thence to Hong Kong, strong mon- soon and rough sea." Capt. X. Egawa, of the Tottori Maru, from The ship ax- Singapore, states: perienced strong wind and rough sea between Shanghai and Hong Kong."

Arriving from Calcutta, the Gerania Italian) brought a cargo of 6,515 tons of coal for Hong Kong and Whampon. The vessel wan ghartered by Messrs. Patell and' Chadiah who are sold agents for the Calcutta Guzdar Kajara Coal Mines,
