Commentary.
Again a most interesting day's cricket. As far as one could see the wicket played pretty easily all through. The ball certainly could he turned a good deal, but there was no zip off the pitch and save in one or two cases it could be watched turning. It was probably in favour of the batsmen all day.
At 1.18 Malaya started again Howard had a two with Wynch and Wong against and a four on the leg side from Wilson and O'Hara, as before, bowl-939 runs Bostock Hill, but one could not help feeling he might have been out asing from their usual ends: Wong innings. easily. He watched the ball very closely and the only doubtful shot he made was a lifted four to leg which went very close to square leg's hand. It was a very similar one to that which cost Stokes his wicket, save that in the latter's case the ball went lower and straight to hand. Howard sected to be pretty uncomfortable most of the time, though his innings war most valuable. He appeared to get out just when he had settled down.
