The attention of alt Os.C. Units armed with the Machine Gun is drawn to the importance of every man who is qualified to fire Part II Tabic "T" Machine Gun, firing Part I. of the same table first of the 30 yards range. The range is always available to units on their recognised days of parade or on ap- plication to the Adjutant.
The service Machine Guns will be available for firing as from Monday, September 2
2.-Muskotry.
The Battery and "Corps Signals will fire Table T Rifle at Stone cutters Range on Sunday, Septem bor 8, 1929.
Range Officer: Lieut. J. H. Bottomley.
Launch will leave Queen's Pier at 9 a.m, and call at Kowloon Pier at
9.10 m.
Dress: Musketry order, ie., rifle, bayonet, belt, braces and pouches or handeliers. Uniform or mufti op- tional.
Arms will be drawn from Corps Headquarters on Friday, September 6. between 9 a.m. and 12 noon, 2 uni 4 pan.. or band & p.m., and on Saturday, September 7, between 9 am, and 1 p.m.,.

The artificial fertilizer market which has been dull for the last two months is now reviving.

The Canton Government Mint has recently placed an order with Hong Kong for 4,000,000 ounces of silver bullion.
Trade Conditions in Wuchow are still disappointing and the finan- cial crisis caused by the deprecia [tion of Kwangsi banknotes has not
been settled.
There has been a healthy demand from country merchants for cane molasses, but arrivals are shall and prices have risen. The car rent prices are from Tis. 2.40 to Ts, 4.37 per picul.
