A steersman was charged before Comdr. J. B. Newill, D.S.O., R.N., at the Marine Court yesterday for failing to give the true particulars required by the Harbour Master under Sen. 30., S.S. 23, Ord. 16, of 1800.

Accused pleaded guilty and a fine of 825 or three weeks was imposed,

No License Necessary? Thinking it was not necessary to take out a license for his craft the

master of a boat went about his business in'a most care-free manner. However, he had to pay 84.15 for the offence.
