MARINE COURT CASES,

Chan Fuk was the muster of a cargo boat, Being of an impatient nature he could not wait till the in Chow crat her, anchor to go alongside and he made fast his craft while the vessel was still under way. When he appeared before Comdr. Hole at the Marine Court last Saturday be pleaded guilty and was fined $3 or five days.

Unlawful Dredging.

The master of a class IV. bont was charged with unlawful dredg; ing in the vicinity of the Naval anchorage.

Lance Sergt. Bowers in the wit. ncas box said that when on duty on No. 3 Police Launch on Friday at a a. m. be saw the defendant's sampan dredging off the Naval Yard. He went alongside the sampan and was just in time to see defendant throw the gear overboard

The defendant said he was only passing the Naval Anchorage and was dot dredging. When asked if he could produce a witness he an- awered in the negative.

His Worship found defendant guilty and fined him 810 or ten 160 days.
