Hongkew Wharves have strengthened and were brought up to Tis. 178. China Providents can be placed at 84.55.

CANTON COTTON YARN MARKET.

A' Shanghai chble dated April 11th atates that the price of Japanese cotton yarn has fallen by one tael. In Canton, stocks are scarce and the price of No. 20 native yarn has increased by lour to five dollars and that of 5de yarn by three to four dollars.
