MARKET TENDENCIES.

We have received the following letter from Mesars Pentreath Co.. to whom it was forwarded on February 96 by Meers. Hornby Hemalryk & Co., Liverpool.

The market has been quies but very steady during the past week, and prices are about 15 points higher compared with these ruling a week ago.

The stendiness may be attributed in part to a somewhat better 'de mand from the East for cloth.

Manchester reports an improved enquiry for cloth, especially from China and the demand from India is also showing improvement now that the riots are ovar.
