In the witness-box, L/S Hill stated that he was on duty in No. 9 Police Launch on March 98, at about 4 p.mi, The Tilawa was then steaming from No. 4 Wharf, Kow- loon, and witness anw the 4'sampans alongside tha steamer, made fast to it by ropes. Witness arrested two of them, the remaining two making ofl. Their numbers, how ever, were taken and they were ar rested later.
