An interesting account of the clash of West with East in China and of the present state of China and the difficulty of the task before the new National Government was given last month at a meeting in the Manchester Y.M.C.A. by Dr. T. Z. Koo, general secretary of the Student Department of the Chinese Y.M.C.A.
