HONG KONG OIL MARKET.

During the last fortnight, the whole supply of groundnut oil in the local market has been cleared and the fresh supplies from North China were not sufficient for the demand. Quotations have advancı cd steadily. Business in wood oil has also shown slight improve- meat, and many orders have been placed. The amount imported from Kwangai is not sufficient to meet the foreign demand. Tea seed oil and bean oil are both meeting with brisk enquiry.
