LAWN TENNIS.

U.S.R.C. TOURNAMENT.

RESULT OF THE DRAW

The Annual Tournament of the United Services Recreation Club starts this week and the draw has already been made. Great interest has in the past been taken in this tournament and in view of the fact. that the Club has shown up pro- minently against strong representa- tive dides from the rest of the Celony, it will undoubtedly be as popular as ever this year,

Many of the leading loent players Are competing, among them, Lt. Hale, Dr. Tottenham, J. S. Mc- Eachran, Lt. Healing, L. Goldman, J. G. Lawrie, G. W. Sewell, E. D. Lawrence, Major Lucas, F. A. Red. mond, Mrs. Tottenhain, Mrs. Miles, Miss Luard, Mrs. D. Smith and Mrs. Hale,

The large number of entries in all events shows the popularity of the game and the interest in the tournament. There are three cham- pionship events of which the Men's Singles is for the "Tottenham " Cup presented last year by the well known player, Dr. Tottenham.
